Klondike Electric Bicycles and Klondike Gift Supply are locally owned and operated in Skagway, Alaska.

We are currently hiring for several positions for the 2027 summer season.

Retail Associate - This person will work at our gift shop. You will need to be comfortable with giving safety speeches and directions to guests. Will be responsible for providing excellent customer service. Perform sales transactions. Assist with keeping sales floor stocked and organized. May need to open the cash register at the beginning of the day or reconcile sales at the end of the day.

Bike Repair & Maintenance Tech - This person will maintain the quality and safety of our rental fleet. Will be required to provide excellent customer service while interacting with guests. This person will also help with cleaning bikes and cars upon their return. Needs to be able to give a safety speech to customers.

Tour Guide & Bike Shop Associate - Love bikes, Alaska, and meeting people from around the world? Join our team as a Tour Guide & Bike Shop Associate! You’ll lead fun and informative e-bike tours through Skagway, share local history and stories, help guests have an amazing experience, and assist with daily bike shop operations. We’re looking for energetic, dependable people who love the outdoors, enjoy working with people, and aren’t afraid to jump in and help wherever needed.

Fleet Cleaner (Bikes & Cars) - Help keep our fleet looking its best! As a Fleet Cleaner, you’ll clean, inspect, and prepare our electric bikes and rental cars for their next adventure. This hands-on position is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work, notices the little things, and enjoys staying busy. You’ll work behind the scenes to make sure every bike and vehicle is clean, safe, organized, and ready for our guests.

Our goal at Klondike Electric Bicycles is to make our guests visit the highlight of their entire Alaskan experience; as such, applicants should be focused on providing exceptional hospitality and have above average interpersonal and communication skills.

Wages will be based on experience and abilities.

Housing may be available on a case-by-case basis.
